Maya and Nick’s Greystone Castle wedding was reminds you why Boulder is so magical in the spring. Greystone Castle really is one of the most iconic luxury venues around—think European-inspired stone walls, a grand staircase, and incredible mountain views.
Spring had officially arrived, and the hills were that bright, happy green, and the air had that crisp, sun-kissed feeling. From the second I arrived, the energy was warm. Maya and Nick are two of the most joy-filled humans I’ve ever photographed. I was photographing as a second shooter for this one, but by the end of the day, Greystone Castle had solidified itself as one of my absolute favorite venues to work at. The indoor spaces are breathtaking, the outdoor spaces are even better, and the whole place just photographs beautifully in every direction. I’m honestly hoping I get to come back here again and again.

A Bold, Bright Color Palette
We have to talk about the colors because… wow. This palette was honestly the perfect match for the spring greens at Greystone Castle. Everywhere you looked, there were these saturated pops of yellow, pink, and orange. The bridesmaids absolutely stole the show in their fuchsia, coral, tangerine, and lemon dresses. I loved how each dress had its own vibe, but together they created this fun, color-blocked moment that photographed so beautifully in the sun.
Instead of traditional cut florals for the ceremony, they used potted plants to line the aisle and frame the ceremony space. It created this elevated garden feel. The details carried right into the reception, too. The tables had fruit tucked into the arrangements (which I will forever be obsessed with), playful centerpieces, and everything felt fresh and joyful. The palette played such a big role in bringing their wedding to life.

The Moments That Made Their Greystone Castle Wedding Memorable
One of my favorite parts of the day was Maya and Nick’s first touch. They stood on opposite sides of the castle’s stone walls, hidden enough to keep the surprise. It was a sweet pause before everything kicked into gear. The ceremony setup was beautiful, with the green foothills stretching out behind them. Boulder really delivered with the views that day. They did their first dance under the tent on that black-and-white checkered dance floor. The historic charm, castle walls, and mountain views all blend together to create a space where big feelings and bold choices feel right at home.
