Monique started walking down the aisle, and everything shifted. Julian’s face said it all, and you could feel how much this moment meant to both of them. The Paseo wedding venue was doing its thing with mountains in the background and soft light, while two people were stepping into something they’ve been building for a long time.
These two built their story slowly, starting as friends, then becoming best friends, and somewhere along the way, it turned into something more. It all began during a Yosemite trip, and from there, travel became such a big part of who they are together. One of their most meaningful adventures took them to Alaska, where Julian proposed under the northern lights outside their igloo… I mean, truly, how do you top that?
This day felt warm, emotional, and so deeply connected. They included Brodie, their 10-month-old pug, who absolutely stole a few hearts along the way.

An Elevated Desert Wedding at The Paseo Wedding Venue
The overall vibe of the day was elevated, but still really warm and inviting. One of my favorite details was the all-black guest dress code. It brought this clean, cohesive look that instantly made everything feel a little more refined. Monique wore a flowy, romantic tulle dress that was perfect on her.
The ceremony design leaned into simplicity with all-white florals that framed the space. It was timeless and fresh, letting the desert backdrop do its thing. The Paseo wedding venue really shines here, with the Superstition Mountains.
The reception featured colorful florals and layered textures, and the space felt full and alive. They created a day that felt beautiful and fun, stylish and comfortable… which honestly is the sweet spot every couple is trying to hit.

Why Arizona Weddings Are Unmatched
We snuck away for a few golden hour moments and wow… Arizona does it every time. As the light softened, the mountains turned that dreamy dusty pink. These are always some of my favorite moments. And thennn we headed right back into the party.
If you’re dreaming about getting married in Arizona, days like this are exactly why people choose it. You really can’t beat the desert views, especially at a place like The Paseo. And if you’re making a whole weekend out of it (which I highly recommend!), Scottsdale and Phoenix are great for a more upbeat, luxury feel, while Sedona is perfect if you want something a little more scenic and tucked away. There are also so many beautiful venues in the area—places like Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort & Spa or Royal Palms Resort and Spa if you’re going for that elevated desert vibe.
