This day was the definition of a Colorado summer wedding—blue skies, sunshine, and easy mountain beauty. The Manor House sat there glowing, and you couldn’t have ordered up better weather if you tried. Not a single cloud, not a single worry—just warmth, laughter, and the happiest vibes floating through the air.
That’s the magic of summer here. The light is soft and golden, the breeze sneaks in exactly when you need it, and the mountains are always photogenic. Alexa and Trevor’s day fit right into that rhythm: joyful, relaxed, and so, so full of love.

The Emotional Details at The Manor House
This wedding had me feeling all the emotions. Family was such a huge part of Alexa and Trevor’s day, and it showed in the sweetest ways. I nearly needed tissues for Alexa’s first look with her dad. The way his face lit up when he saw his daughter in her dress for the first time was just one of those moments that remind you why candid wedding photography is such an important piece to incorporate.
Her sisters both stood beside her as co–maids of honor. I loved how it wasn’t just about titles, but about honoring those bonds that mean the world. It made the whole bridal party feel so full of love and connection.
Instead of a first look with Trevor, they chose a first touch. Standing around the corner, hands intertwined, it was an intimate pause before the whirlwind of the ceremony. You could feel how much they were holding onto each other in that moment, savoring the anticipation of finally saying “I do.”

Timeless Style & Personal Touches
Alexa’s gown was a showstopper. It had such a unique beauty to it—something that felt classic but still completely her. She could’ve worn anything and still glowed, but it made for the most stunning bridal look.
The whole aesthetic of the day carried that same timeless vibe. The white florals popped against the chic black bridesmaids’ dresses, creating an elegant, high-contrast look that was so effortlessly classy. It felt like flipping through a magazine spread.
What I loved most, though, was how it never felt too polished or “just for the photos.” It was elegant and authentic—personal details woven into a style that was undeniably theirs. Alexa and Trevor’s vision came to life in a way that celebrated beauty, but also love and family at the center of it all.

Inspiring Your Colorado Summer Wedding
As a photographer, it’s days like these that remind me why I adore what I do. Capturing a love story in the middle of a perfect Colorado summer, with the mountains watching over and a couple who couldn’t stop smiling at each other—honestly, it doesn’t get much better than that.
